Directions

Use as directed by your veterinarian or as outlined in Dr. Evelyn's Recipes.


• Refrigerate upon receiving. (Please note, Rosita fish oils are nitrogen-flushed to remove oxygen before sealing the bottle, which preserves the oil’s freshness in all temperatures).

• Once opened, consume within three months (oil may become thick and cloudy when cold).

• Unopened bottles can be stored in the freezer for up to three years from the product’s production date.

Doctor's Notes

Cod liver oil contains vitamins A and D. Vitamins A and D are essential nutrients but toxic levels can build up over time if not dosed according to your pet's individual needs.

Knowing your pet’s vitamin D status is very helpful as most dogs on kibble diets are found to have insufficient levels. If you are unsure of your pet's vitamin D levels a blood test can be run by your veterinarian.

This product is used to balance some of Dr. Evelyn’s recipes.

Many recipes found online do not contain enough vitamin D. If your homemade diet does not contain a source of vitamin D, like oily fish, consider using cod liver oil to help balance the diet.

Fish oil is a great source of EPA and DHA which are the active forms of omega-3 fatty acids. Since dogs and cats don't convert plant-based omega-3's, fish oil is a great source for these essential nutrients.

*Once opened refrigerate. Refrigerating will ensure freshness for up to 90 days. DISCARD after 90 days - Fish oil oxidizes quickly and can go rancid quicker if not stored correctly*

Damages and wrong item received
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If you request a refund or replacement due to this issue, please provide a photo of the wrong, defective or damaged item. If the item was damaged during shipping please provide a photo of the shipment packaging as well as the item.
