By the end of Module 1 you will be able to:
- Speak to clients seeking nutritional guidance
- Evaluate their pet’s specific dietary needs
- Read & understand pet food labels to know which food to recommend to which pets
- Educate pet owners on gut health and the importance of whole foods in a pet’s diet and create recipes that far exceed AAFCO’s nutritional guidelines
By the end of Module 2 you will be able to:
- Create and make adjustments to diets that cater toward patients with common health challenges and limitations
- Learn to recommend herbs and other nutritional supplements to support optimal health and healing
Live Zoom meetings will be held weekly.
Each meeting will have more of a discussion format, rather than full lecture style.
Homework will be based on real client inquiries.
Each week we will discuss everyone’s thoughts on how to approach a client inquiry (like a focus group). These client inquiries will focus on specific topics, which we will first explore and then I will provide more structure by giving concrete resources and information.
